You better view Hatchet 3 (by Decker Shado)

Hatchet 3 is the horror film of 2013 in the Hatchet series. It follows the ongoing adventures of Victor Crowley's adventures in Louisiana's Honey Island Swamp, as well as his brutal murderous rampage. The film features Kane Hodder as Victor Crowley, Brian Quinn as Deputy Winslow as well as Rileah Vanderbilt as Misty.

The strengths of the film lie in the practical effects. Unlike many modern horror movies that rely heavily on CG effects, Hatchet 3 features mostly realistic makeup effects and sets, resulting in some truly terrifying scenes throughout the movie.

Kane Hodder stands out as an intimidating villain. The cast provides a solid performance. The dialogue (blog post) feels like a 1980s slasher movie. It is witty and funny enough. There are moments of humor throughout the movie that add humor to all the bloody action.

Unfortunately, the film's budget was limited to $1 million. This means that many locations in the movie are repeated from previous films. A boat house is featured twice, and the majority of the scenes feel like they're like a rerun of other films. If you've watched Hatchet or Hatchet 2, this can sometimes make the movie appear familiar.

Overall, Hatchet 3 was an enjoyable show. I enjoyed the violent thrills it provided and the entertaining performances of its actors.
